Jed Pearsall

President

Jed started Performance Research in 1985 when he realized that research and evaluation was the missing leg in sponsorship marketing.
Jed holds a doctorate in sports management from Temple University and completed undergraduate work in psychology at Dartmouth College and pre-doctoral studies at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
Jed lives for adventure — he is a life-long sailor and aspiring polo player.

Bill Doyle

Vice President

The co-founder of Performance Research, Bill has been at the industry’s forefront in tapping the emotional triggers and passion points in sponsorship. Bill is a graduate of Rutgers School of Business, and a leading presenter for sponsorship conferences and seminars.
Bill drives to work in his 1959 Edsel, which he prides as the century’s biggest mistake as a result of not doing market research. He is a competitive sailor, a fearless snowboarder, and a lover of mid-century design.

Marc Porter

Senior Project Manager

Marc is instrumental in the marketing and evaluation of property research and the management of on-site projects. He also directs “video immersion” projects for Performance Research, a qualitative research tool that has been successfully utilized by several of the world’s biggest sponsors.
In his free time, Marc likes staying active: he is an avid golfer and tennis player, and ran his first marathon in Chicago last year.

Julia Burke

Senior Project Manager

Julia joined Performance Research with a professional and academic background in marketing and communication. She is interested in how emerging communication technologies intersect with market research, and has played an integral role in developing our mobile, social and innovative research programs.
During her downtime, you might find her at the nearest yoga studio or covered in flour in the midst of her latest baking project.

Jenny Mello

Senior Project Manager

Jenny’s experience in the marketing world spans Europe and the US. She started in brand management in the UK, creating marketing and sponsorship strategies for Scottish and Newcastle’s premium beer range. A move to NYC led her to advertising, where she developed consumer-driven strategies for top creative agencies. Since 2007, she has led our NCAA research partnership.
When Jenny has downtime, she enjoys playing tennis and traveling.

Leah Cruz

Senior Tabulations Director

Leah has been with Performance Research since 1992. She started as a telephone interviewer and has climbed the ranks through several roles, now serving as the head of our tabulations department. She loves working on the front-end tabulating data, where she likes to think a “research story” begins to emerge.
When she is not crunching numbers, Leah is spending quality time with her friends and family, including her 3 dogs.

Michele Gibbs

Data Processing Associate / Quality Control Manager

Michele joined Performance Research in 2001 as a telephone interviewer, advancing through different positions over the years: from coding, data entry, quality control and most recently, data processing. She has been involved in nearly every step of our internal process.
Michele is an avid New England Patriots fan and has two beautiful children; her son Austin is keeping our sidewalks snow-free during the Rhode Island winters.

Brenna Sanches

Coding & Report Design

One of our newest team members, Brenna primarily handles coding, using the “Brenna-brain” to bring a human touch to verbatim processing. She brings an energy for learning to our team, and is excited to absorb everything she can about market research. Outside of work, Brenna reads everything, from blogs to Old English epics, and loves live music.
She also might be a little too obsessed with her family dog Pistol (but really, he’s just THAT cute).
